Compensation: Competitive base salary with performance bonuses. Total compensation for Year 1: $65,000 - $85,000. Growth potential as the business scales. Compensation will be tailored to the right candidate.

We are seeking a General Manager who will oversee day-to-day operations, guest services, and team management while driving growth by adding new properties to our portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to take the reins of an established business and lead it to the next stage of success.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Oversee the daily operations of 15-20 vacation rental properties.

- Ensure exceptional guest service by managing inquiries, bookings, and guest satisfaction.

- Leverage AI and virtual assistants to streamline guest services.

Team Leadership

- Recruit and manage cleaners, handyman, pool contacts etc

- Build upon an existing reliable and high-performing team to ensure smooth property turnover and maintenance.

- Cultivate a positive and motivated work environment that aligns with Valcove’s growth objectives.

Strategic Growth

- Focus on growing the property portfolio through owner outreach, partnerships, and exceptional service.

- Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

- Collaborate with the owner for strategy and performance tracking

Financial Oversight

- Collaborate with the owner on monthly accounting and property owner relations during the transition period.

- Drive revenue growth through cost savings, increased occupancy, and new property acquisition.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as a General Manager or Operations Manager, or #2 in a vacation rental management company, short-term rental management company or hospitality business

- Strong background in vacation rental management or hospitality operations is a must.

- Experience recruiting and managing teams, particularly in cleaning and guest service roles.

- A results-driven individual with a focus on growth and sustainability.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- A leader who thrives in autonomy while collaborating effectively with ownership.
