General Manager/Bar Manager

The Village Inn, Finglas are delighted to announce we are seeking a General Manager for our busy and growing venue based in Finglas, D11.

Located 2 Minutes walk from Finglas Village we are eager to recruit an experienced general manager to our team. The Village Inn is a busy local community pub which offers a sizeable drinks and Food selection.

We are looking to recruit an Honest person who can be trusted to run the business in a professional manner and have the ability to drive the business in a profitable fashion. The right candidate will have at Least 3 years experience in a busy Ireland based pub.

This is a fantastic opertunity for an experienced hard working hospitality expert to progress their career.

The Right Person

At Least 3 Years experience in a busy Ireland based food and drink venue.

Will have excellent knowledge of Food & Beverage Including Cocktails

Familiar with Health & Safety at work practices

Experience with Cash Control, Stock Control, Waste management, KPIs and cost control

Experience with drawing rosters within budget

Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance

Strong customer service skills

Have a neat and tidy appearance and present oneself in a professional manner

Your Roles (Include but not limited to)

Running the business in a clean and professional manner

Dealing with customers and presenting excellent customer service

Driving the business to acheive increased profits and presenting ideas for upselling

Providing staff training

Designing rosters in line with budgets

Controllling the day to day cash receipts within the business

Ordering stock and keeping stock levels in line with business needs

Maintaining good stock reports

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €45,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
