Partner with the best

As Manager -Global Engineering Center, you are responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems in Baker Hughes’ Surface Pressure Control business delivered from SPC Engineering Centers in Asia Pacific and South America.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of people (Engineer, Designer, Analyst) from the SPC Engineering Centers, supporting Engineering-to-Order, Standardization, Engineering Analysis and documentations.
  • Monitoring and driving KPI for the Engineering Center team, which includes On-Time-Delivery, Yield, First-Time-Yield, COPQ.
  • Assessing & monitoring team member’s competency and drive training/development plan.
  • Driving compliance to Engineering QMS, Common Best Practice and Standard across Engineering Center organization.
  • Driving minimum variance between as-sold vs as-executed engineering cost and engineering-driven product cost.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Have a bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering would be a benefit).
  • Have minimum 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry and 3 additional years of experience in Design Engineering Management with global scope.
  • Have minimum 5 years experience working as Product Design Engineer in Surface Wellhead company.
  • Familiar with the relevant Industry Standard: API 6A, API16A, NACE MR0175
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Have ability to lead programs / projects and ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skill
