Graduate Engineer - Structures

We're looking for the next generation of Holmes Engineers. If you're completing your final year of study towards a BE (Hons) in Civil Engineering or are a Masters/PhD student due to finish at the end of this year and are passionate structural engineering—then we'd love to hear from you.

Our graduate engineer roles are all about:

• Getting talented new people working with proven experts in the field—learning from the best on exciting, high-profile projects.
• Working alongside forward-thinking vertical and horizontal structural engineers and technical specialists on meaningful design and detailing work; attending site visits and gaining exposure to complex and interesting engineering challenges.
• Working in a dynamic, exciting environment on live projects, with all the support, mentoring and infrastructure to succeed.
• Taking part in our very own specially designed graduate programme, Holmes University, by attending regular tech sessions to help build your technical skills to back-up classroom theory, and—after the work's done—we're never afraid to have a good time.

Across the country, we have team lunches and Pizza Thursdays as a way to come together, fortnightly tech sessions and cheese and crackers for morning tea. Outside of work we have touch, football and netball teams, pub quiz groups, running groups, boot camps and even puzzle club. There truly is something for everyone. Our Social Good team regularly organises activities that benefit the community, like volunteering at Habitat for Humanity or collecting for the City Mission.
