About the Role:
Since our colleague is going on parental leave we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Group Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team in Sweden. This is a temporary position covering a parental leave.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our group's financial reporting and compliance. This position is ideal for a proactive and experienced accountant with a strong understanding of international accounting principles, consolidation processes, and tax regulations.
What you'll do
Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping Coordination & Quality Assurance:
- Oversee and coordinate bookkeeping activities with external accounting firms across various countries, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Establish and maintain clear communication channels with accounting partners, resolving discrepancies and addressing queries promptly.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

- Group Consolidation:
- Manage the group consolidation process using Bright Analytics, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Identify and address consolidation-related issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

- Cash Flow & Payment Planning:
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity management at the group level.
- Plan and monitor payments to ensure optimal cash allocation and working capital management.
- Ensure efficient coordination between local finance teams and the group regarding cash movements.
Identify and implement strategies for optimizing cash flow and minimizing financial risk.

- Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Closing:
- Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to the CFO and senior management.

- Tax Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with Swedish and international tax regulations and accounting principles (K3).
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and tax laws, and implement necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing rules and regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
- Assist with tax audits and prepare tax-related documentation.
Work with external auditors during audits.
- Ensure compliance with Swedish and international tax regulations and accounting principles (K3).
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Who you are
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in group accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of K3 accounting standards. IFRS is a good merit too.
- Experience with Bright Analytics or similar consolidation software.
- Excellent understanding of Swedish and international tax regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken).
- Experience working with international accounting firms.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a multinational company.
- Experience with other ERP systems.
- Experience in Bright Analytics
Location and office policy:
This interim assignment is preferred to be based in central Stockholm, where Bambuser has its HQ. The role has an office-first policy, and we expect the role to spend the majority of the time in our office.
