Group Accounting Intern for Europe’s largest residential manager

The Team
Our Group Accounting team consists of four highly skilled and dedicated professionals across Scandinavia. Driven by an ambitious growth plan to develop best practice accounting, we are seeking for a motivated individual with a keen interest in top-tier accounting and reporting to join us as Group Financial Accountant intern.
The position will be based in our offices in Oslo or Malmö and are part-time (50%).

You will play a pivotal role in our team by:

• Responsible for Accounts payable from A-Z in 3 Scandinavian countries
• Responsible for processing travel expenses
• Responsible for accounting for financial transactions
• Support of monthly and quarterly closing processes (reconciliations of GL accounts, e.g. bank, FA, periodisation, invoicing)
• Support maintenance of routine descriptions related to your position
• Support roll-out and improvement of group accounting software
• Other Ad-hoc tasks related to the position

To be our dream candidate, you are:

• Currently pursuing BSc./MSc. in Accounting or Finance, Business, Economics, or similar (ongoing studies, at least completed 2 years)
• Need to be available 12-24 hours per week, Preference for candidates open to a longer-term engagement.
• Based in Malmö / Oslo, or able to commute
• Good understanding of numbers and accounting.
• Have a keen interest in all processes within accounting, reporting
• Good IT skills (notably excel) and interest in ERP systems
• Possess strong commercial and social skills, a team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
