Hands-On Director Of Engineering Delivery

Our Platform Engineering Team is working to solve the Multiplicity Problem. We are trusted by some of the most reputable and established FinTech Firms. Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion & Go Live of apps that support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry.

This role is for someone who balances technical depth, operational execution, and client-facing communication with ease.

We are looking for Leader who can, but are not limited to, the below:

• Own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale fintech platform projects across UI, backend, DevOps, and infrastructure.
• Act as the technical quarterback: work with engineers to break down complex tasks, identify blockers, and drive execution.
• Design and maintain technical architecture diagrams and ensure alignment across teams.
• Create polished executive slide decks (weekly or monthly updates) with just the right technical details for senior stakeholders.
• Translate business goals into technical roadmaps with clear KPIs and milestones.
• Ensure DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment readiness across cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Review code and guide development using Java, Spring Boot, REST, Kafka, and event-driven architecture.
• Understand UI architecture and help align frontend/backend integration.
• Guide cloud-native design and deployment on AWS, Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, etc.
• Partner with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure platform stability and scalability.
• Act as a client liaison, answering tough technical questions and building trusted partnerships.
• Drive internal culture and treat the project like your own business, because our clients expect nothing less.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on background in Java, Spring Boot, and event-driven systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, including CI/CD, Lambda, ECS, and monitoring.
• Ability to architect, diagram, and communicate systems clearly at both executive and engineering levels.
• Experience working in fintech, banking, or platform engineering is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing DevOps pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and distributed systems.
• Confident in leading client discussions with CTOs, CIOs, and senior executives.
• Experience working in high-velocity, agile, startup environments.
