Arc Leisure Limited currently have a vacancy for an experienced caretaker to join our team in our leisure and retail units in Parnell St, Ennis.

Candidates should be self -motivated, show good initiative and have attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

• To ensure all external areas are cleaned & maintained to a high standard.
• Complete minor maintenance including painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling work, lock function and repair, decorating and light electrical work.
• Carry out both preventative maintenance routines and reactive jobs.
• Ensure all maintenance procedures are kept up to date.
• Manage your workload and be self-motivated to finish projects on time.
• To notify the Manager should a maintenance problem require further attention.
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations for materials, equipment and buildings ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers, staff and visitors is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 2 years caretaking experience, ideally within a leisure/retail services area.
• Basic knowledge of building/maintenance trade.
• Skilled in the use of related tools (including hand & electrical tools) is essential.
• Have their own tools (Preferred).
• A high level of integrity and honesty.
• Safe pass and Manual Handling certification is desirable.
• Experience and certification in MEWP and Harness is advantageous.
• Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on ladders etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
