Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a full-time software- and hardware-engineering intern to join our Mixed Signal ASIC Test and Characterization team located in Agoura Hills, CA. The intern will be responsible for the following:

  • Set up and operate lab instrumentation for test development of mixed-signal application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs)
  • Support senior ASIC engineers in execution of ASIC verification and testing
  • Build software and hardware for efficient testing and data processing

  • At least two years of college education in electrical engineering OR computer engineering OR computer science with a background in electrical/computer engineering
  • Familiarity with programming languages, such as C, C#, or Visual Basic
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, such as DMMs, power supplies, power generators, and oscilloscopes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proactive in acquiring new skills and expanding technical knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred: Strong familiarity with PCBA concepts, such as reading schematics, layout, and manufacturing techniques
  • Preferred: Familiarity with signal integrity concepts, such as S-parameters, TDR, and impedance
  • Preferred: Familiarity with embedded systems (e.g. Arduino)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Verilog and FPGAs
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Git
  • Preferred: Soldering and SMD rework skills


We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.


This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.


Compensation:

The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
