Harvesting Labourer

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and irrigate soil; monitor and maintain irrigation systems.

• Plant, fertilize, thin, and harvest crops; monitor plant health and environmental risks.

• Participate in harvesting, sorting, weighing, packing, trimming, milling, drying, and sample collection.

• Conduct checks on equipment, repair irrigation, trim weeds, clean workspaces, and maintain farm tools.

• Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm products.

• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and growing areas per sanitation protocols.

• Assist in plant culling with leadership and follow farm management guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma required

• Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 20 kilograms

• Extended periods of stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, and standing.

Salary: We offer a salary of $20.00/hour

Bonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employers discretion.

Job Type: Full-time permanent

Language: At least intermediate English is required.
