The Role

We are seeking 2 x HD Fitters to join an earthmoving company, who work on large projects with the private and government sectors. Although smaller, this company has a number of projects in the pipeline to complement the work they have already, ensuring there is longevity in the position(s).

• 6am-330pm with the opportunity of overtime.
• Start on a contract with the opportunity to move to a permanent role.
• In a small workshop, so you need to be strong working individually.
• Working with HGV, Trucks and earthmoving equipment
• $60-$70 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy earthmoving equipment (for example bulldozers, excavators, heavy trucks).
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.

Experience Needed

• Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent.
• Experience with heavy equipment is essential.
• Strong diagnostic skills with hydraulic and electrical systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
