This is a hands-on leadership position in which you’ll take ownership of a diverse aftermarket product portfolio.

Leading a large high-performing team multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for design, development and deployment of new products to market.

The role:

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team, and collaborate with international counterparts.
• Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle - delivering products on time, on budget, and fit for purpose.
• Drive innovation with a strong commercial lens.
• Managing a pipeline of concurrent projects, via a team of Engineering Managers and Team leaders.
• Driving design quality, standards and continuous improvement - strengthening product development processes and capability.
• Partnering closely with product, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams
• Making key trade-off decisions across cost, performance and timing
• Collaborating with international teams to share knowledge and align on best practice.

• A proven technical engineering expert and people leader
• Strong experience in engineering leadership within product-based environments (automotive or similar highly regarded)
• Track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams
• Deep experience running product development programs
• Solid commercial acumen—you understand cost, margin and business impact
• Comfortable operating strategically and getting hands-on into the detail to help develop the team
• Excellent communication skills and able to influence and align stakeholders across the business
• A leader who builds capability, drives accountability and lifts standards.
