The Role
We're now looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Marketing to lead our marketing, brand, PR, and E-commerce strategy across the brands of Overland Footwear.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for elevating brand presence, owning website performance, and driving revenue across both online and retail stores in ANZ, all while building and inspiring a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Commercial Performance:
- Own and deliver the overarching marketing, brand, PR and digital strategy
- Lead seasonal marketing planning, campaigns and tactical execution
- Manage budgets, forecasts and performance reporting with a strong commercial lens
- React quickly to trading conditions, identifying risks and opportunities in real time
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing with business goals and revenue targets
Content & Campaign Direction
- Lead the development of seasonal campaigns and content strategies aligned to brand and commercial goals
- Ensure all content is purposeful, on-brand and conversion-focused
- Oversee and approve all digital outputs, maintaining consistency in tone and execution
- Analyse and report on performance, continuously optimising results
- Stay ahead of fashion, content and competitor trends
Ecommerce & Website Ownership
- Own the performance of all websites, ensuring they are optimised to drive revenue and brand experience
- Drive online revenue growth and manage the ecommerce P&L
- Monitor site performance, UX, functionality and conversion
- Ensure all sites are up to date, visually on-brand and trading effectively
- Forecast revenue, identify growth levers and respond quickly to performance changes
- Champion ecommerce best practice across the business
Customer Experience
- Lead loyalty programme strategy, execution and optimisation
- Drive customer engagement, retention and lifetime value
- Develop customer insights, segmentation and personalised marketing strategies
- Ensure a seamless omnichannel experience across digital and retail
- Continuously refine customer journeys to remove friction and unlock growth
Brand & PR strategy
- Act as the brand guardian across all channels and touchpoints
- Lead PR, media and influencer strategy within the fashion and lifestyle space
- Build and nurture key industry relationships
- Drive brand awareness and measurable ROI from all activity
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role ideally within fashion or lifestyle retail
- Strong commercial acumen with experience owning budgets and revenue outcomes
- Deep digital and ecommerce expertise, including website ownership and performance optimisation
- Ability to react quickly, make decisions and pivot in a fast-moving retail environment
- A balance of creative thinking and data-driven decision making
- Experience leading integrated, multi-channel campaigns
- An inspirational leadership style with the ability to motivate and elevate teams
- Strong understanding of customer experience, loyalty and data-driven marketing
