Assisting them with day-to-day tasks of caring for our patients, this is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to our vision of delivering quality patient care.

We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our well established, innovative team within our RITO Dialysis Unit at Manukau Health Park.
As a Health Care Assistant you will be required to provide clinical and non-clinical care to our patients. Our new team member must also be highly organised, able to prioritise, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy building relationships with our patients and their whaanau.

Salaries are based on the NZNO Collective Agreement Health Care Assistant salary scale between Step 1 ($60,100) and Step 5 ($70,358).

Essential:

  • 2+ years Health Care Assistant experience in New Zealand
  • Level 4 NZ Health Care Assistant certificate with 1+ years HCA experience in New Zealand
  • or NZ Level 3 Health Care Assistant certificate with 2+ years HCA experience or equivalent (to be assessed) in New Zealand
  • Good communication skills
