About the role:
- location – Dublin Airport Airside Project
- Become part of Rossmore’s HSEQ Team to learn new roles and gain exposure to site operations.
- Grow and develop your skills in this industry as you will work alongside the Rossmore’s site management team.
- Working on large scale contractor Tier 1 construction projects while working with other Company Safety Managers.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Compiling Method Statements, Risk Assessments, carrying out Audits and all other H&S obligations.
- Co-ordinate and deliver EHS related training, inductions, staff training etc.
- Update Induction regularly to reflect the ever-changing site and management structure.
- Update Environmental Health & Safety plan & risk assessments when required.
- Updating and maintaining company’s 9001, 14001 & 45001 ISO accredited managing system.
- Attend daily white board meeting and input where necessary if there are any issues that you feel need addressing.
- Accident investigation
- Create incident reports, when necessary, for example first aid/ near miss/ accidents etc.
- Responsible for supporting ongoing maintenance and development of the Environmental, Health, Safety Management Systems.
- Effectively communicate throughout the company on EHS issues
- Actively participating in management meetings
- Support communications and relationship with all Regulatory Bodies to best represent the interests and intentions of the company.
- Carrying out risk assessments and hazard identification
- Hold toolbox talks to communicate EHS requirements to staff and learn from events.
- Co-ordinate and deliver EHS related training, inductions, staff training, ISO procedures, etc.
- Audit, control & manage the various Sub-contractor H&S Documentations, Insurance policies, etc.
Experience
- 3rd level qualification in Health & Safety or similar required.
- +3 year' experience in H&S role in a Construction/Engineering industry preferred.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be innovative.
- Good time management skills and able to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Full Driving License preferred.
