Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. We are an independent, Audiologist-owned clinic in Scarborough, Ontario, and we are seeking a dedicated Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our practice. In this role, you will provide exceptional, client-centered hearing care based on best practice guidelines. You must be able to travel to our satellite clinics located in Scarborough.
We offer a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitation services, including advanced hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings for all ages. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure you can provide the highest quality of care. We also provide continuous education and training to help you stay current and advance your skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for both adults and children, mainly in an ENT setting.
- Program, and verify hearing instruments and accessories
- Provide counseling, follow-up support, and care for clients and their families
- Collaborate with the team to achieve the best patient outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience testing patients of all ages
- Familiarity with hearing aids and programming software from major manufacturers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Minimum Requirements:
- Hearing Instrument Specialist Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Registered with a recognized regulatory body (e.g., HIS or eligible for registration)
- ADP registered or eligible to register
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong relationship-building, counseling, and follow-up skills
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: 50,000 to 75,000 per year (commensurate with qualifications, experience, and performance)
- Flexibility in hours

- Paid time off
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (with the option to work weekends if desired)
Location:
- In-person at our Scarborough clinic and satellite locations
