High End Cabinet Finisher

The Village Collection, Inc. is a leading custom cabinetmaker specializing in high-end residential cabinetry throughout Northern California. We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher to join our Stockton shop. Whether you’re an apprentice with strong fundamentals or a journeyman-level finisher with years of experience, this is a unique opportunity to work on premium cabinetry in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sand, stain, and finish custom cabinetry to the highest standards.
• Spray finishes using professional spray equipment.
• Work with water-based stains, clear coats, and paints, as well as ultra-low VOC hand-rubbed oil finishes.
• Mix and color-match finishes as needed for consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-ventilated finishing area.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and uphold quality control.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of wood finishing or cabinet finishing experience preferred.
• Strong eye for detail, color, and surface preparation.
• Familiarity with water-based finishing systems and hand-applied oil finishes a plus.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to producing exceptional work.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $22–$33/hr, based on experience and skill level.
• 15 paid days off annually (PTO + holidays).
