The Home Care Staff Accountant will primarily be responsible for the financial well being of Tender At Home. The staff accountant will achieve this by creating billing and payroll reports, maintain client accounts, analyzing the documenting and implementing financial best practices to ensure the financial health of Tender At Home.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, payroll, bookkeeping, and accounts payable.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and home care software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPA
- Experience in medical field
- Excellent communication skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:
- Manage and process billing for home care clients using home care software and QuickBooks Online.
- Proactively reduce overdue balances by implementing effective collection strategies and performing detailed analysis of outstanding accounts.
- Accurately apply payments within QuickBooks Online to ensure up-to-date records.
Payroll:
- Export and consolidate data from relevant software systems for payroll processing.
- Prepare and process payroll using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy before submitting for final approval.
Bookkeeping:
- Categorize and record financial transactions accurately within QuickBooks Online to maintain precise financial records.
- Conduct regular analysis of profit and loss statements to provide actionable insights for financial decision-making.
Accounts Payable:
- Manage and execute accounts payable tasks, including processing workers' compensation payments and other ad hoc payable responsibilities.
- Ensure all payable tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Proactively reduce overdue balances by implementing effective collection strategies and performing detailed analysis of outstanding accounts.
- Accurately apply payments within QuickBooks Online to ensure up-to-date records.
Operations:
- Assist operations staff with weekend phone calls and care coordination for on-call rotation
- Step in for staffing when as needed
