Position Available: Horticulture Leading Hand

Number of Positions Available: 2
Location: Waikato Region
Payrate: $30 to $35 per hour
Hours of Work Per Week: 30 - 40

Key Requirements:

• 2 years of experience or Level 4 qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate horticultural teams on-site to achieve productivity targets.

• Supervise all horticulture related tasks.

• Provide on-the-job training and ensure all work meets quality standards.

• Monitor weather, soil, and crop conditions and adjust tasks accordingly.

• Report daily progress to management and assist in workforce planning.

• Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety, and biosecurity standards.

• Operate and oversee the use of horticultural tools, machinery, and equipment.

• Act as the communication link between ground staff and management.
