Host / Hostess - Searsons Of Baggot Street

Searsons are looking for an experienced Host / Hostess to join our team! We are looking for a strong confident and out going person for this exciting opportunity!

Requirements:

• Experience working Front of House with at least 2 years experience
• Ability to manage bookings through phone calls, emails and Res Diary.
• Must be available weekends.
• Great communication skills & Fluent English

Duties:

1. Greeting Guests

• Warmly welcoming guests as they enter the bar or restaurant.
• Smiling and maintaining a friendly manner at all times.

2. Managing Reservations

• Answering phone calls and responding to reservation inquiries.
• Organizing and managing reservations, either manually or through a booking system.

3. Seating Guests

• Escorting guests to their assigned table or preferred seating area.
• Providing menus and explaining any specials or promotions.

4. Managing Wait Lists

• Keeping track of the waitlist during busy periods.
• Informing guests of approximate wait times and managing expectations.

5. Coordinating with Wait Staff

• Communicating with servers to ensure tables are ready and available.
• Notifying the wait staff when new guests are seated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €15.00-€16.00 per hour
