Assistant Conference & Events Manager
The Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork is currently seeking an ambitious, dynamic & self-motivated Assistant Conference & Events Manager to join its Management Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate to ensure the effective and efficient supervision of all Hotel operations in a busy, fast paced & vibrant environment. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required alongside a pleasant personality with strong focus on customer service.
The successful candidate must be able to work flexible shifts which include evenings and weekends. A minimum 2-4 years Management experience in a Hotel environment - Conference & Events experience would be essential.
Some Key Responsibilities:
* To work in unison with the C&E Manager to effectively manage, organise & supervise allocated Conference & Events to the required standard.
* To assist with the Management of the Conference & Events department and conduct interviews, induction and training of new C&E Team Members.
* To undertake and carry out effectively the role of Duty Manager when required - To have a visible presence within the Hotel and ensure the smooth running of all departments whilst on duty.
* To resolve guest complaints in a friendly & efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times whilst maintaining the Hotel's reputation. Record all feedback and strategise with relevant departmental Managers.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* max 2/4 years previous experience in a Hotel Duty Management/ Conference & Events Role Essential
* Hospitality / Travel & Tourism Management Qualification
* Office Administration & Computer Skills
