Hotel Day Porter (Weekends)

The Club House Hotel, currently have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Porter based in Kilkenny City Centre. Weekend Day porter Saturday & Sunday 10-3/4

Would you like to join our amazing team of staff for 10/15 hours per week. Enjoy free meals & complementary parking while on duty as well as other perks. We are looking for motivated Individuals that can working on their own initiative and as part of a team. Strong English is a must to be able to communicate with guests, management and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setting up & cleaning of all meeting and conference rooms.
• Assisting The Housekeeping team with Linen Deliveries
• General Cleaning of front and back of house areas of the hotel.
• Accepting and putting away of deliveries.
• Assisting with guest luggage.
• Perform ongoing jobs that may arise throughout the day.
• To be fully aware of and strictly adhere to Health and Safety, fire and security procedures.
• Stocking Main & Function Bars
• Removal Of Kegs, Stock etc,
• Should have a good manner for dealing with management, staff and customers.

Required Skills and Attributes:

• Fluent English
• Some experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential
• Must be self-motivated and can prioritise work
• Flexibility with working hours Weekend Hours
