Hotel Duty Manager

The 3* Woodfield House Hotel of the Ennis Road, Limerick is currently seeking to appoint an experience Hotel Duty Manager. The Woodfield is a popular hotel which contains and operates a busy F&B department. We are seeking a passionate and professional person to support and develop our business and its team.

The ideal candidate should have:

Strong F&B experience working hands-on in a supervisory/managing role within a fast paced and dynamic environment. An outgoing and friendly personality with great communication and customer-service skills. An ability of forward thinking with a view to troubleshooting any issues while driving and developing business. Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks on the go is a must.

Responsibilities would include:

• Overseeing the day to day running of Bar & Restaurant including managing staff while ensuring and developing team work.
• Supervision of the Reception area of the hotel would also be required and training would be provided.
• Assist with weekly rosters, ordering and stock management, coordinating bookings and events, managing customer complaints and queries.
• Responsible cash handling and exceptional attention to detail.
• Liaising with the GM and Head Chef to maintain, develop and advance standards within the business.
• Ensure the Standard Operating Procedures are followed and assist with reviewing/updating the SOP when necessary. Where required assist with staff training. Support, maintain and ensure standards are adhered to within the OH&S and HACCP systems.

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years supervisory/managing experience within a busy Bar & Restaurant, have a professional appearance and be fluent in English.

Pay: From €16.00 per hour
