We are currently seeking a Duty Manager to join the team at Charleville Park Hotel.
The Role: The Duty Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our guests and patrons enjoy their experience with us through maintaining the highest possible levels of standards. This is a full-time role with varying shift times so requires flexibility.
Reporting to: You will report directly to the General Manager and Operations Manager, who will provide guidance and support to ensure your success in this role.
The Person: We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual with experience in hospitality in a leadership role. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to lead a team, and excellent communication skills.

Situated in North Cork, on the Limerick boarder, Charleville Park is one of Cork’s finest four-star hotels. Boasting 91 bedrooms and suites, extensive leisure facilities, ample free car parking on site, and complimentary high speed WIFI, Charleville Park Hotel is your ideal base for your next getaway. Key Responsibilities include:
- To oversee the smooth running of all departments.
- To be responsible for all day-to-day queries, complaints, or problems that arise in the hotel.
- To ensure the highest level of customer care is always practiced.
- To assist with the training of employees where necessary.
- To liaise daily with Operations Manager to forecast business on a weekly basis and to plan accordingly.
- To assist and carry out training as required and to document the same.
- To ensure all back of house areas are clean at all times i.e. back hallways, staff canteen, changing rooms, and staff lifts and services areas.
- To attend the weekly head of department meetings.
- To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health and Safety of yourself, other employees, guests, and any other persons on the premises.
- To observe all safety rules and procedures.
- To undertake a correct handover from the previous shift and be fully aware of all activities in the hotel
- To ensure that all hotel staff on duty are provided with the necessary information in regard to the relevant activities that are taking place in the hotel.
