Hotel General Manager

The Holiday Inn Express Maspeth is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on General Manager to lead daily hotel operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, revenue growth, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Breakfast, and Guest Services
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and company policies
• Drive guest satisfaction and maintain high online review scores
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate hotel team members
• Manage budgets, forecasting, payroll, and cost controls
• Increase hotel revenue through effective sales and operational strategies
• Maintain property appearance, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally
• Develop strong relationships with guests, vendors, and local businesses
• Monitor daily reports, occupancy, ADR, and hotel performance metrics

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years hotel management experience required
• Previous IHG experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of hotel PMS systems and revenue management
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve guest satisfaction scores
• Strong understanding of hotel financials and P&L management

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
