Hotel Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an understanding of the importance of cleanliness in the hotel industry. Must be available weekends.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and clean for guests.
• Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Proficiency in floor care techniques and custodial practices.
• Experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or similar hospitality setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during shifts.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
