Hotel Night Auditor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team in Addison Texas. This role is essential in ensuring smooth overnight operations, guest satisfaction, and accurate financial reporting. The Night Auditor will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service during overnight hours, managing front desk operations, and ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions. Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of hotel financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, including check-ins and check-outs for late arrivals and early departures.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the night.
• Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism using proper phone etiquette to assist guests and staff efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of daily revenue, expenses, and other financial data using hotel management software.
• Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy rates, revenue summaries, and any discrepancies identified during audits.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff by monitoring premises during overnight hours.
• Assist with guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and organization of the front desk area to uphold cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is required.
• Strong knowledge of night audit procedures and guest services within a hotel or resort setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse guest population effectively.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction.
• Ability to work overnight shifts reliably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
