Hotel Receptionist

The eagerly awaited Marcy Hotel located in the heart of Drogheda, opened its doors in April 2023.

Within the historic walls of this iconic building is our famous Nellys Bar bringing vibrancy, excitement and character to West Street, Eden Private Space hosting a range of corporate and family celebrations & 27 bedrooms offering a home away from home to all our visitors.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated Receptionist with a positive can-do attitude, friendly personality when dealing with customers and genuinely enjoy working as part of a team.

We are recruiting both full time and part time roles for our reception team. This role will require some flexibility shifts can be early morning starts or afternoon starts and some late finishes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Welcoming and greeting guests in accordance with SOPs.

· Check-in and check-out guest's accordance with company standards.

· Provide excellent customer service.

· To communicate any enquiries to the relevant department in a timely manner, ensuring that all information is correct.

· Deal with all calls and emails efficiently and effectively.

· Making reservations and take payments for future bookings.

· Ensuring billing is correctly carried out to the hotel standards.

· To assist other departments if required with basic tasks.

· Participate with training and coaching of team members as required.

· Attend training when required.

· To be fully aware of and strictly adhere to Health and Safety, fire, and security procedures.

Requirements

· Good communication skills with good spoken English

· Must have good customer service experience.

· Be flexible with regards to working hours and be available for weekend work
