Housekeeping Assistant

Job Description

Reporting to the Accommodation Supervisor, the Accommodation Assistant will execute housekeeping duties for the hotel including preparing rooms for guests and ensuring our general areas are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare rooms and general areas to the highest standard.
Highlight any items or areas that need maintenance.
Tasks will include but not limited to the following

• Strip, inspect and make beds, to clean and polish furniture
• Clean bathroom fixtures and fittings
• Dust all surfaces
• To clean floors, walls and fittings and carpets
• Replace all guest supplies and stationery when necessary
• Handle linen according to procedures
• Dispose of dirty linen following correct procedure
• Remove accumulated trash from rooms
• Replenish and tidy trolley at end of shift
• Report maintenance issues to supervisors
• Attend to guest needs and requests courteously and efficiently

Requirements:

Experience in housekeeping and cleaning is desired but not essential.
Customer focus.
Attention to detail.
Ambition to develop.
Fluent English preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From €14.00 per hour
