Hr Generalist

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations in a retail environment. This role is responsible for key HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll support, compliance with labor laws, and general administrative tasks. The successful candidate will help maintain efficient HR processes while fostering a positive and compliant workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related course
  • With at least 2–3 years of experience in HR, preferably within retail or a similar industry
  • Good working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll assistance, and HR administration
  • Familiarity with government-mandated benefits and processes (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding
  • Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and ensure timely hiring
  • Support payroll processing by preparing and verifying employee data
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and 201 files
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws
  • Process and monitor government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR)
  • Respond to employee concerns and HR-related inquiries; assist in handling disciplinary matters when needed
  • Support the implementation of HR programs, policies, and engagement initiatives
  • Prepare necessary HR documents such as contracts, reports, and other documentation
  • Partner with management on workforce planning and HR-related projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
