Hr Manager - Bukit Panjang

You are responsible for all Human Resource (HR)-related matters for the Command, as well as ensuring the smooth delivery of responsive support on HR administration. On this, you manage HR administration issues which entail leave, posting, promotions, regimentation, discipline, and welfare. You also monitor Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) and Body Mass Index (BMI) requirements, assist in the conduct of exercises and oversee the registry. You collaborate closely with group commanders to execute the medals and awards recognition framework at the National, MINDEF, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and Command levels, as well as provide advice on governing policies, rules and guidelines of the processes. In addition, you oversee the administration of Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) disruption, extension of service, promotions and short-term contract. You also handle HR-related issues pertaining to call-ups, posting and deployment, Route of Advancement management, promotion, awards, personnel affairs and Enhanced Expertise Deployment for our Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen). Your challenge lies in managing work efficiently through teamwork, assertiveness, and innovative problem-solving.

You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in Human Resource Management, with at least 3 years' experience in HR, administration and hands-on experience with SAP in HR administration. You must have an interest in process management. You must possess good leadership traits, planning abilities, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Being driven, meticulous, and having a growth mindset to drive for excellence are crucial. Proficiency in data management is advantageous. You must be able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work closely with numerous stakeholders. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
