We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our people-related operations at our five manufacturing sites in Italy and Spain.
The Role
In this varied and rewarding role, you will lead and impact upon:
- Safety: As a member of the management team, instil a culture focused on safe work environment.
- The HR team: Build, develop and manage a high-performing HR team.
- Culture: Lead the development of the site’s culture, including values and behaviours.
- Engagement: Drive initiatives that enhance employee commitment and engagement
- Partnering: Be a valued partner to the plant management teams on HR strategies and issues.
- Plant Goals and Objective (Strategy): Assist in the development of the Strategic Plans, translating goals and objectives into human resources strategic and operational business plans.
- Financial: Provide input to and utilize budgeted resources to effectively manage human resources function, including corporate, division and plant.
- HR Systems and Process: Provide input to the development and management of progressive and proactive HR systems, processes and practices.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all national and local laws and regulations related to labor and employment and benefits and compensation.
- Corporate initiatives: roll-out Corporate HR initiatives at local level, ensuring full communication, engagement and completion is achieved.
The Person
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Demonstrable working experience in a similar regional HR leadership role.
- Experience of leading and developing a small but cohesive team.
- Your main experience gained within Italy (experience of Spanish labor laws is highly advantageous).
- The ability to work both tactically and strategically.
- Ideally, experience within the print/packaging industry.
- Worked within a matrix organization and be able to manage competing demands .
- Managed change projects, including restructures, reorganizations, and policy implementation.
- The skills necessary to build strong and lasting relationships with key leadership colleagues, management teams, unions, and employees.
- The willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region.

Additional Information
To apply for this role you must already have the right to live and work in Italy and Spain and have the ability to travel unrestricted within the region. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
As this role will be working closely with both the local HR team and site management teams, the successful candidate will be required to be on-site and should therefore live within commuting distance of one of our main site in Lucca, Italy.
