POSITION SUMMARY:
- Assists in the management and handling of the Human Resources in the smooth transactions and operations of the business.
- Undertakes Human Resources strategies and directions to ensure that the needs of the total organization are met
- Responsible for all the administrative operations and actions of the Company
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Extends support and assistance to the HR/Admin. Manager in undertaking the daily tasks/requirements of the Department to meet the operations of the business.
2. Attends to the needs of the employees in the absence of the HR/Admin. Manager by inquiring as to their need/s and advising the employee of what action can be undertaken in the absence of the required authority
3. Assists in the preparation of employment contracts and job description for employees from Rank & File to Supervisory/Executive level
4. Documentation of salary advice from Rank & File to Supervisory/Executive levels, casuals/contractual/per project employees, and apprentices
5. Orientation of newly hired employees.
6. Coordinates with various departments for internal and external trainings/seminar requirements.
7. Prepares contract agreement for employees upon regularization with salary updates on adjustments and allowances.
8. Prepares reporting of newly hired employees for SSS, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig and BIR.
9. Prepares SSS and Philhealth certificates of employment.
10. Prepares and submits on-line enrollment forms for ATM with Unionbank.
11. Computation of maternity and sickness benefits with SSS and preparation of cash advance payment to employees and duly collects the same amount from SSS.
12. Sourcing of applicants/candidates to fill in vacant positions from schools, agencies, job streets and newspaper ads.
13. Screening and interview of applicants.
14. Reviews contracts from various manpower agencies and negotiates for best rates.
15. Initiates, develops and actively supports various HR programs to uplift the morale of all office personnel as well as in promoting a team spirit that is cohesive and proactive in undertaking their individual tasks and in attaining the company’s goals.
16. Promotes and establishes good rapport with all office and field personnel to gain their trust and confidence to be an effective HR Department within the organization. Promotes an open door policy.
17. Ensures that personnel requirements of the organization are processed in a timely manner having in mind the need of the company but ensuring that it has the proper approvals and applicants are properly screened, interviewed, cleared with the required police and medical clearances and validated before being assigned to their specific task/s.
18. Ensures strict adherence to all confidential information that goes through the Department. Conforms to Head Office standards in its upkeep and maintenance.
19. Takes prompt action on special tasks, assignments, duties or projects that may be assigned by the President & CEO and MAACC Executive Director within the scope of work.
20. Advises the Immediate Superior of any incident or any pertinent information needed that may occur for effective and proper communication. Initially seeks advice in undertaking any appropriate action.
21. Provides assistance and/or undertakes other assignments or special projects that maybe assigned from time to time.
