We are looking for a Hydraulic Component Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory picks, following work instructions, assembling hydraulic components, nitrogen charging and other warehouse duties as required. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly using a bill of material, work instructions and/or drawings. We are looking for someone who is organized, takes pride in quality of work and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Interpret and assemble parts as per the bill of material, work instruction and build-to drawing specifications.
- Confirm completion of work within SAP business system.
- Use of various hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical tools in compliance with applicable safety standards.
- Operate material handling equipment: overhead crane, forklift, lean lift, hydraulic elevating cart, pallet jack, in compliance with applicable safety standards.
- Ensure quality of work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6S and lean principles.
- Work with Engineering and Product Support to identify and report non-conformances and root cause.
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Work as a team to develop continuous improvement methods, lean, 5S principles.
- Willing to cross-train in other departments.
- Charge accumulators.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Positive work ethic.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma.
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience operating forklifts, reach trucks and small cranes is an asset.
- Familiarity with hydraulic components and assembly processes is an advantage.
- Valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 75lbs as part of regular assembly and material handling tasks.
- Mechanical aids are used where possible, but some manual handling is required.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components.
- Ability to stand and perform tasks for extended periods (8 hours).
- Occasional bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, reach trucks and small cranes daily.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
