Location: Dublin (with travel to managed properties)

About the Role
Kelly Bradshaw Dalton Estate Agents are seeking a reliable, multi-skilled, and proactive Handyman/Lady to join our property maintenance team. This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing various issues across our managed residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-presented at all times. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and take pride in delivering quality work with a professional and friendly approach.
Key Responsibilities
Minor Plumbing
- Fix leaky faucets, toilets, and pipes
- Clear blocked drains
- Replace fixtures (e.g., showerheads, taps)
- Occasionally replace showers (if straightforward)
Carpentry
- Repair/replace trim, baseboards, and molding
- Hang and adjust doors, repair frames
- Fit shelves and cabinets
- Assemble and repair furniture
- Fit flooring (carpet, laminate, vinyl)
- Tile walls and floors
- Fit shower doors
General Repairs & Finishing
- Grouting and resealing in bathrooms
- Patch holes and cracks in walls
- Prep and paint walls, ceilings, and woodwork
- Minor plaster repairs
- Fit fire doors and handle DCC-related window restriction tasks
Exterior and Routine Maintenance
- Power wash exteriors, patios, and walkways
- Clean and maintain gutters
- Repair/install fences and gates
- External painting and damp/mould removal
Monthly Property Upkeep
- Garden maintenance: weed spraying and tidy-ups (front and rear)
- Clean common areas in multi-unit buildings
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role with skills across plumbing, electrics, carpentry, and general repairs
- Basic tools and transport preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Friendly, professional attitude with good communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards (e.g., fire door fitting, alarm installations)
