Posi on: Senior Legal Counsel
We seek an accomplished in-house legal counsel, preferably with exper se in mutual funds, financial
transac ons, and cross-border fund distribu on. This role is ideal for professionals with excep onal
dra ing, ve ng, and nego a on skills who can navigate the complexi es of global financial markets.

Qualifica ons 
Law graduate/postgraduate (LLB/LLM) with at least 5 years of experience in financial services,

fund management, or a top- er law firm. 
Exper se in investment and fund management laws, fund structuring, financial instruments, risk

management, and regulatory compliance. 
Solu on-oriented, proac ve, and self-driven with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to

lead and drive ac on.

Key Responsibili es
Legal & Contract Management 
Dra , review, interpret, and nego ate financial contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence. 
Structure and vet agreements with distributors, pla orms, retrocession agents, and service

providers. 
Nego ate and finalize prime brokerage, GMRA, ISDA, and custody agreements. 
Provide legal insights on investment structures, financial instruments, cross-border fund

distribu on, and regulatory compliance. 
Offer corporate and commercial legal advisory, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and

regula ons.

Investment & Risk Support 
Analyse legal risks and enforceability concerns in various investment products. 
Support marke ng, investor rela ons, and due diligence (DDQ) processes. 
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulators, ins tu onal

investors, and counterpar es.

Regulatory & Compliance 
Con nuously update Silverdale’s Risk Management Program and Internal Compliance Manual to

align with evolving regula ons. 

Ensure adherence to local and interna onal compliance frameworks by adap ng policies and
protocols as needed. 

Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and investor due diligence requests.
