Within the Group, you will join AXA EssentiALL, the Group’s global inclusive insurance business unit, currently protecting circa 18 million customers across Asia, Africa and Latin America, as well as in France and other European Markets.

As a key team member of the Strategy, Performance Management & Business Development team at AXA EssentiALL, this role will be focused on contributing to AXA Group’s Inclusive Insurance strategy, social performance & impact and delivery of inclusive insurance programs in key geographies (Emerging and European markets).


YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


AXA EssentiALL is AXA’s global business unit whose aim is to deploy inclusive insurance programs, in partnership with local AXA entities reaching circa 19 million customers in 22 geographies across Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. It is the voice of Inclusive Insurance and drives the social impact business contribution of the Group. As part of AXA’s next strategic cycle, AXA EssentiALL wants to strengthen and continue to develop its impact measurement framework, including through its expansion to mature markets, support strategic definitions of new business models, initiatives and markets, as well as continue to build inclusive insurance delivery capabilities at the entity level.
This position offers a unique opportunity to join the social business unit of a leading global financial service player and shape its business and impact strategy for the future, ensuring modest-income customers around the world gain access to protection for their families, businesses and communities.

Your job and daily missions:

Strategy & Business Development
  • Lead/support/coordinate strategic studies on inclusive insurance, distribution models, or partnerships in Emerging and European markets.
  • Prepare and participate to strategic presentations (internal and external) and relevant documents for governance and business development purposes, in liaison with relevant team members, stakeholders and management.
  • Support portfolio analyses across markets, products, and channels to guide decision‑making.
  • Contribute to annual and multi‑year strategic business planning with AXA entities.

Inclusive Insurance Commercial Strategy & Local Implementation
  • Serve as Entity Relationship Manager (ERM), acting as main contact for assigned AXA entities.
  • With the local Head of AXA EssentiALL, Co‑drive inclusive insurance strategies with local teams and coordinate cross‑team support.
  • Identify priority segments and assess customer needs using inclusive insurance criteria, adapting it to local market context.
  • Scout and develop business opportunities and distribution partnerships (B2B2C and traditional) in selected market: Lead partner meeting preparation, pitches, commercial follow‑ups, and internal approvals.
  • Implement relevant governance framework and processes for quarterly and reviews on strategy delivery and performance.

Impact Measurement & Thought Leadership
  • Drive the evolution of AXA EssentiALL’s impact measurement framework and tools.
  • With relevant entities and external partners, co-lead in designing and executing impact assessments.
  • Support thought leadership and policy/academic projects on financial inclusion and financial health.
  • Contribute to communications and advocacy with relevant impact‑focused content.
  • Support preparation of industry events related to impact measurement and social indicators.


YOUR PROFILE


Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent in English. Another language spoken in any of our priority markets is a plus, French in particular
  • 4-7 years’ experience working in the financial services space, inclusive & social business and/or consulting, preferably in the areas of strategy, distribution (incl. digital), partnerships or innovation
  • Genuine interest in inclusive insurance / financial inclusion / social business and impact topics
  • Experience handling reporting or business strategy development processes including data consolidation, results analysis and presentation to high level management executives
  • Strong skills in Power Point and Excel
  • Experience working in emerging markets, in particular in one or several of AXA EssentiALL’s emerging markets countries
  • Experience in social impact measurement, development, project monitoring and evaluation framework is a plus
