Infant Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of infant-aged children.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters early childhood development.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices in teaching methodologies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Understanding of child welfare regulations and standards for preschool environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
