Position Summary
ICG is looking for an Infrastructure Intern for a 5-month internship to start in August 2023. As a member of the Private Equity (Infrastructure) team, you will assist with the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities for ICG. You will gain exposure to the diverse infrastructure sector (primary focus on energy transition, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, and environmental services sectors) as well as expand their knowledge and develop skills in evaluating private equity investments.
Primary Responsibilities
You will have the unique opportunity to work actively on all aspects of potential investments as well as fundraising efforts. The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct economic/financial research on industries and companies
- Evaluate company's financial and operating performance to the overall industry and market trends
- Build, review and operate complex financial models used for evaluating investments
- Assist with drafting of investment memorandums and presentations (highlighting and explaining industry trends, investment overview and thesis, key risks/issues, etc.)
- Assist with drafting of fundraising documents
Key Requirements/ Qualifications
You will have demonstrable experience of:
- Penultimate/final year undergraduate students are preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and willingness to learn
- A supportive and adaptable team member who can build positive relationships
- Financial modeling skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
