The Inside Sales Representative handles customers’ orders and provides them with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints. With his/her deep knowledge of systems, processes and collaboration with other departments, the Inside Sales Representative will ensure the orders will be delivered on time as per customer request and the inquiries will be answered in a timely and qualitative manner.
Accountabilities:
- Processes customer orders according to sales conditions and in line with company policies.
- Provides timely responses to customer inquiries and technical questions or complaints by telephone and/or email with service and quality standards. Track and trace of customer deliveries.
- Provides product and service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities and/or offers alternative products in case of backorders of the requested products, to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.
- Create credit notes, replacement deliveries and invoice corrections.
- Processes physical customer returns, main warehouse and reversing defective items.
- Restocking, inventory bookings
- Ensure processing of repair and the processing of pickup orders
- Proactively push customers to use the web portal for ordering and availability of products and assist customers for first training and thru the web portal (LT Pro).
- Acknowledges and reports important input from the customers to improve the organization (like complaints, product availability). Reports also client signals to the responsible account manager.
- Provides customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, prices, and verifies with the Sales Representatives and/or Sales Manager for discounts.
- Accounting applications; Create new customers, obtain business information via Crefo.
- Contributes actively in the customer service/inside sales meetings and is open to improve their own performance within the department.
- Works with the customer on shipment planning and if necessary gives instructions to the Warehouse for the physical preparation of the orders.
- Gives input for special promotion catalogues.
Skills & Knowledge:
- International trade knowledge/ degree or equivalent by experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, Excel + ERP
- Fluently spoken and written in German and good level of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- Good Knowledge about SAP
- Good technical knowledge of the product range
- Team player
- Stress resistant
- Basic technical knowledge of the product range is preferred
Our offer:
This exciting position is a Global Grade 7 and offers a salary of between €35,000 and €40,000 (payable in 13 instalments). Please be aware that this range represents the pay range for all positions within the job grade in which the post falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, and location (country). We also offer the following benefits:
