The Rag Factory is looking for a talented and competitive Sales Representative. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. We are a leading online supplier of Industrial, Janitorial and Safety supplies to customers across Canada. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
  • Establish friendly relations with customers and maintain ongoing relations with the customers

Skills:

  • Proven inside or outside sales experience.
  • Experience in selling Industrial supplies, Janitorial or Safety supplies an asset
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • 2+ years of recent sales experience (B2B), in either an outbound or inbound environment
  • Must be comfortable prospecting, developing leads and making a high volume of cold calls.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and digital marketing apps like ZoomInfo, Apollo
  • Knowledge and experience selling into the Jan/San market is preferred.

Compensation:

We offer an attractive base salary + commission. Our commission structure is residual and uncapped. We believe in paying our employees to not only close sales but to establish long term relationships with our clients!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Commission pay
