What you’ll do

Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and general-purpose reports for various entities and industries
Conduct tax research, payroll tax preparation and handle general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation
Align your interests and growth opportunities to serve a diverse client base, resolving issues, and addressing individual client needs. This can provide exposure to a range of business structures – partnerships, trusts, companies and individuals.
Build and maintain positive and personalised working relationships with clients and colleagues
Perform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accounts
Participate in professional development activities to stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards

What you’ll bring

A degree in either Accounting, Business or Commerce
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MYOB and Xero
Professional, client focused and invested in wanting to develop into a trusted subject matter expert and advisor
Excellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management and organisational skills with the ability to adapt in high pressure situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
