You will be joining the Finance team based in Singapore (HQ) where you will learn how Finance plays an integral role to the respective businesses (i.e., Garena, Shopee, and SeaMoney). Through hands-on experience, you’ll get to hone your skills, and contribute meaningfully to our finance operations.
Job Description
As an intern with the Finance Transformation team, you will be working on some of these various tasks but not limited to:
- Utilize programming languages and/or LCNC (low-code/no-code) platforms to design and develop automation solutions for finance process
- Participate in finance process improvement and optimization projects (e.g. process automation and workflow improvement)
- Review and enhance current documentation process
- Assist team in managing projects timelines
- Liaise with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders
- Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate in their third year of study and above, majoring or minoring in Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Knowledge on accounting practices is a plus
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and/or SQL
- Familiarity with Alteryx, Knime, and/or any RPA tools is advantageous
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Able to work independently and open to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Minimum 3 months of internship from May to Aug 2025
