Job Summary
The Internal Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of all financial records of the company. This role will monitor daily financial activities, verify transactions, control costs, and provide management with clear financial insights to support decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities.
1. Financial Monitoring & Control
- Review and verify all daily transactions (sales, expenses, collections, disbursements)
- Ensure proper recording in accounting systems
- Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies immediately
- Implement internal controls to prevent fraud, leakage, and errors
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports:
- Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Cash Flow Statement
- Expense Breakdown
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data
3. Audit & Compliance
- Conduct internal audits on:
- Inventory
- Cash handling
- Procurement
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with external accountant/bookkeeper for BIR filings if needed
5. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Track actual vs budget performance
- Alert management on overspending or financial risks
6. Process Improvement
- Develop and implement SOPs for finance and accounting processes
- Improve systems for better tracking (inventory, expenses, payroll, etc.)
- Work closely with operations and HR to ensure financial discipline
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- CPA is preferred but not required
- At least 2–5 years experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or food business
- Strong knowledge of:
- Cost accounting
- Inventory systems
- Financial reporting
- High attention to detail and integrity
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software

- Reduction in unnecessary costs / leakages
- Inventory variance minimized
- Improved profit margins through insights
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
