Internship / Co-Op - Finance

As a Finance Intern/Co-Op placement , you will play an integral role in our team and will be responsible for managing various bookkeeping tasks. The role requires comfort with working with numbers, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses
- Record financial transactions in QuickBooks
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial statements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and team members as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Requirements:

- Enrolled in a business program at a post-secondary institution
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks is highly desirable
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Accounting aptitude test will be conducted during the interview process

Compensation and other:

- This is a full time position, 5 days position with the opportunity to work 2-3 days remotely
- This is a 4-6 months internship/ Co-op position with the opportunity to convert to full time
