Job Description

Introduction

ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Job Mission

The Supply Chain Management team is ASML’s logistics interface to its supply base and responsible for material availability for ASML factories. In today’s complex multi-tier supply chains, this is only possible by creating full transparency in the chains and flexibility at suppliers. To do this, the SCM team works with strategic suppliers to continuously reduce cycle times, secure capacity & increase flexibility and develop supply chain performance of suppliers. Driving supplier development in these areas ensures ASML’s supply base keeps pace with technological developments and can adapt to changing market conditions.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Job Description

Key areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Support strategy development to help drive competitive supply chain performance
  • Support logistics performance analysis and supplier process improvements to help drive measurable improvements for ASML’s supply chain performance
    • Drive Cycle/Lead-Time Reduction projects
    • Identify and help plan required capacity, buffers and flexibility at our strategic suppliers
    • Optimize internal and external processes for planning and order management activities to improve supply chain reliability
      • Improve Supplier On-Time Delivery
      • Increase Supplier delivery flexibility and capacity
      • Streamline Internal Demand and Supply Planning processes
      • Create and Implement automated tools for supplier management reports

Education and Experience

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
  • Experience or exposure to purchasing, planning, and/or negotiation strategies is a plus
  • Proficiency with MRP software (SAP or Oracle) or MRP simulations is a plus
  • Strong excel skills to be able to complete analytics and informative graphs
  • Experienced with completing and presenting in person and virtual effective PowerPoint presentations

  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs

Other Information

  • This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

(For states that require salary information) The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $17.00 - $53.00. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
