The internship

Main Responsibilities

Support the rollout of a re-designed SRM model. To perform this task, you will be expected to analyse large data sets, collect information from various sources and support visualization of the impact from all planned actions. As a result, you will be reporting on program KPIs, building PowerBI dashboards, ensuring consistency of metrics and approach across suppliers and supporting the team during monthly and quarterly business reviews.

• Co-create the slides required for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Support the team during these business reviews
• Data analytics, visualisation, and reporting
• Drive insights and improvement areas
• Support on other ongoing projects

You will be part of Supply Chain Procurement and will be based at our Schiphol/Amsterdam office. The terms of employment

• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in Amsterdam
• You will receive an internship allowance of €500 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The unique you!

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking, and social person in the final stages of a university or bachelor’s degree. The right candidate is passionate about continuous improvement and has a keen interest in the world of sustainability. Furthermore, you are studying towards a degree in one of the following areas: Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences or Engineering.

Experience/Capabilities:

• An excellent grasp and control of the English language. A 2nd language is always a plus
• Comfortable working in cross-functional international teams
• Able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Strong analytical skills and enjoys working with data
• Is proactive and willing to go the extra mile
• Digital savvy with expertise in using Microsoft Office applications with particular focus on Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint and Word. Proficiency in SQL is a plus
• Experience with creating multi-dimensional data models or knowledge thereof

Conditions of HEINEKEN

• You are enrolled at an educational institution.
  • In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
  • In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.

• Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
