Internship (Vt 2025) Full-Time/Part-Time

Job Description

Are you interested in doing an internship within the Marketing and Communications Team at the British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce? We are looking for university students at the end of their studies at a master’s or bachelor’s level with an interest in bi-lateral relations between Sweden and the UK. We offer you a platform to expand your professional network, develop your skills and gain valuable insight into our membership community. You will also have the opportunity to participate in certain programs, including seminars and conferences, and meet with business leaders and policymakers within our network.

During the spring semester 2025 we offer the following internship positions:

Communications and Policy Intern (full-time/part-time position)

Ideally as our Communications and Policy Intern you are studying towards a degree in business, economics, political science, or a similar subject. As an Intern you are expected to follow current affairs and write analysis concerning the British and Swedish economy and political landscape. You will mainly be monitoring and analyzing developments within the global political economy and international trade. You are also expected to assist in the planning of network seminars and participate in our events. Normally, the internship is conducted on full-time during office hours and can be undertaken as a part of your studies. The internship last for 20 weeks (one semester) and is unpaid.

Qualifications:

• Experience and interest in Economic and Policy Analysis
• Knowledge of the bi-lateral relationship between Sweden and the UK
• Interested in pursuing a career in Public Affairs

Events and Marketing Intern (full-time/part-time position)

As our Events and Marketing Intern you are expected to participate and help us coordinate our events throughout the semester. This is a part-time/full-time position, and we expect you to be at the office at least once a week for an office meeting to help us coordinate and market our events. This is a flexible internship that you can combine with studying and requires you to be in Stockholm when we are hosting events. Normally, our events take place outside office hours, from 7.30-9.00 or 17.00-20.00 thus making it possible for you to combine this internship with full-time studies. The internship lasts for 20-40 weeks (one or two semesters) and is unpaid.

Qualifications:

• Experience and interest in Marketing, Digital Media and Event coordination
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Social Media Marketing
• Preferably knowledge within web-design, photography and filmmaking
