It Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure & Security) - Basic + Allowance, Islandwide

Summary:

• 5-day work week
• Islandwide project sites with government sector exposure
Hands-on work with VMware Cloud Foundation, Tanzu, and Kubernetes

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration of IT systems from on-premise to secure government cloud (VMware Cloud Foundation)
• Deploy, configure, and maintain vSAN, NSX, vCenter, and SDDC Manager
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters
• Automate provisioning and deployment with Aria Automation & GitLab CI
• Administer Linux & Windows servers, including Tomcat, Apache, and IIS
• Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools
• Implement system security hardening and manage security testing (DAST, SAST, PT, SVS)
• Collaborate with HQ technical teams and government CISO units
Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure post-migration

Requirements:

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Tanzu, and Kubernetes
• Skilled in Aria Automation (vRealize Automation) and GitLab CI
• Strong Linux & Windows server administration skills
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus & Grafana
• Knowledge of IT security practices and testing methodologies
Relevant certifications (VCP, CKA, CKAD, CISSP) advantageous
