Worley Canada Construction is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Student to work with our IT team at our Edmonton, Alberta office located at 2455 – 130 Ave NE, T6S 0A4

Please note the work is required to be completed in-person at our office location.

Responsibilities:

  • Image and deploy desktop, Laptop, tablet and peripherals following deployment documentation and checklists
  • Software installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Printer/peripheral installation
  • Diagnose, repair, and upgrade computer software and equipment
  • Respond to customer inquiries
  • Record-keeping and asset management
  • Support other departments as necessary, depending on workload
  • Work proactively to ensure that services delivery is aligned to the customer needs

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and have physical ability to lift 20lbs.
  • Effective written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to be adaptable, manage multiple priorities in highly dynamic and changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy.
  • Effective written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including internal users and clients' counterparts.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Basic IT certification training, or experience is an asset.
  • Must be proficient with computers in Microsoft Windows environment
  • Completion of High School
